1. Top 3 Industries: Legal, Education, and Non-Profits
In 2023, we deepened our engagement with our three core sectors: Legal, Education, and Non-Profits. Whether it’s a law firm navigating litigation, an educational institution facing policy upheavals, or a non-profit dealing with sensitive personnel or financial issues, our team has been instrumental in steering these organizations towards stability and renewed confidence.
We’re brought in during one of these three phases:
Preventing a Crisis: We’ve worked closely with organizations to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement proactive strategies. This involves thorough risk assessments, crafting effective communication plans, and training teams to manage potential crises effectively.
Managing Ongoing Crises: When crises arise, our team has been at the forefront, guiding our clients through the storm. Our expertise in crisis management ensures that responses are swift, strategic, and effective, minimizing impact and maintaining public trust.
Repairing Reputation Post-Crisis: Post-crisis, our focus shifts to rebuilding and repairing reputations. This process includes understanding the crisis’s impact, developing strategies to regain stakeholder trust, and restoring their public image through thoughtful and consistent communication efforts.
2. New Project: Book # 4 is Underway!
Our upcoming book is for proactive business leaders who know ‘It’s never JUST a statement’, and want the essential fire-extinguishing strategies to prevent PR sparks from becoming a PR dumpster fire. It will focus on case studies, practical techniques, and strategies so that you can apply the knowledge in real-world situations.
Our other books include: A Lawyer’s Guide to Crisis PR, A Board Member’s Guide to Crisis PR, and A Business Owner’s Guide to Crisis PR. Find out more about them here.
3. Over 40 Media Appearances
Our company’s expertise was featured in over 40 media appearances this year. Our firm’s President, Eden Gillott, has provided her insights on a diverse array of topics, including Prince Harry, Bud Light, Don Lemon, Taylor Swift, Barbie and Mattel, Good Morning America, Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith, and presidential candidates. Additionally, her analysis has covered significant trends and events, including the Israel-Hamas war, the emergence of ChatGPT, and the intricacies of Cancel Culture.
4. Eden Crowned Prom Queen 👑
The votes are in! This year’s theme for EO Los Angeles’ holiday party was none other than 80s prom. Despite being comfortable during media interviews, being in the spotlight is a totally different story. So after hiding in the bathroom in fear of being called, Eden finally emerged to be crowned Prom Queen. And if her Prom King counterpart signals what’s ahead, maybe EO LA President isn’t too far away.
