2021 Year in Review: Gillott Communications

Water washing up on a beach with the year in the sand

The world could use some happy news, so we’re skipping the typical Year in Review: Crisis PR’s Greatest Hits and swapping it out for some wins! Join us in celebrating some of our favorite moments from 2021.

Expanded Strategic Communications Subscription Service Beyond AmLaw200 and Fortune 100 Clients

After several requests from our network, we expanded our Subscription service which originally had been exclusive to our AmLaw200 and Fortune 100 clients.

What’s the Strategic Communications Subscription?

Anything that falls outside of the realm of strictly legal & crisis, and into the critical arena of proactively managing optics & communications. We’re brought in on an ongoing basis to guide clients and avoid missteps.

Law firms, companies, and non-profits love being able to easily pick up the phone and consult with us on small matters before they become big issues.

New Client Industry: Public School Districts (in addition to Private Schools and Universities)

We’ve always worked with companies and non-profits in the education space, but now we’re partnering with Public School Districts! Over the past year, school districts have reached a critical tipping point. With the need for seemingly never-ending changes and updates, their entire districts have turned to outside guidance on strategy & communications.

Eden nominated for 2021 National Women of Influence’s “Woman Breaking Barriers Award”

Eden was recognized as a woman who “utilized her position, stature, expertise, and influence to break down barriers and effect positive change in her profession, industry or enterprise.”

Roger Heads Litigation PR Practice

Because Roger loves blending his skills as an AP reporter and editor to distill legal matters, he has taken over Gillott Communications’ Litigation PR practice. He also remains deeply involved on the strategic communications side.

Eden Qualifies for Spartan Trifecta World Championship for 2nd Year Running

Eden’s love of overcoming obstacles in her day job as a crisis manager extends into her hobbies. Once again, Eden’s been invited to join her fellow obstacle course racing friends to compete in Sparta, Greece. While the races have been postponed due to COVID, she’s looking forward to racing alongside everyone in November 2022.
